“We were impressed by the value Conor was able to bring to our project, from initial design concepts to detailed renders and final prototyping. As we did not have the design aesthetic in-house, he has been essential in helping shape the physical forms of our new product offerings.

Easy to work with and always responsive, Conor employs a design approach that is genuinely creative and inspirational, and pushes our projects in new and exciting directions. He demonstrates a commitment to quality that sits well with our values. We have been elated with the final results, and would not hesitate to recommend Conor to any company looking for a capable and committed industrial designer”.

(Part 1) “I've worked with Conor at Monochrome Design across a range of projects at iSimulate, spanning industrial design, mechanical engineering, and manufacturer liaison. It's a rare combination — Conor brings a strong industrial design sensibility together with genuine mechanical engineering rigor, and he's just as comfortable working directly with manufacturing partners to make sure designs translate cleanly into production.

What stands out most is the structure Conor brings to the design process. Projects move through clear phases — from early concept and industrial design exploration through to detailed mechanical engineering and DFM — which makes it easy to review progress, give feedback, and keep projects on track without surprises late in the piece”.

(Part 2) “The quality and completeness of deliverables have been consistently high. Documentation, models, and design packages are thorough and production-ready, which has made handovers to our manufacturing partners smooth and efficient.

I'd strongly recommend Monochrome Design to anyone needing design and engineering support that bridges the gap between concept and manufacturable product”.

“Monochrome Design was great to work with. Conor has strong technical knowledge and was very professional throughout the project. He made it easy to collaborate and was flexible with our needs. He also worked closely with manufacturers to create and improve prototypes. Thanks to him, we now have clear and useful technical diagrams and resources that schools can use to teach engineering skills”.

“We partnered with Monochrome at the critical early stages of developing the nofio wireless adapter for the Valve Index (Nofio wireless VR). It was instrumental in transforming our proof-of-concept into a design ready for market presentation. Thanks to his work, we successfully showcased the adapter to major global brands and reviewers at major events, which was key to kickstarting our product launch.

Conor's professionalism, attention to detail, and helpfulness were exceptional throughout. He quickly grasped our goals and proposed solutions perfectly aligned with our vision. Despite the technical complexity of the WIGIG wireless adapter, Monochrome's design process was efficient and delivered results exceeding our expectations. We will definitely collaborate with Monochrome on future nofio projects.”

“Conor and Monochrome Design has been exceptional in delivering top-tier industrial design work for Vaulta. His attention to detail, approach to combining form and function, and reliable communication made the entire process smooth and efficient. We’re extremely pleased with the final results”.
